Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan have been very good friends and have always had close ties, no matter what their age. Their bond of friendship is so strong that SRK's son, AbRam, thinks Big B is his grandfather. But what could go wrong between the two, Shah Rukh Khan now wants to avenge Amitabh Bachchan? Nothing in fact.
It's just that on Monday, February 11, Amitabh Bachchan unveiled the first poster of his new film titled Badla, which also stars Taapsee Pannu in the lead role. The megastar was seen giving an intense look sporting her gray beard with a slogan that says "Maaf Kar Dena Baar Har Har Sahi Nahin Hota" while Taapsee wore a worried look at Badla's first poster.
Looking at Big B's new movie poster, Shah Rukh Khan looked very intrigued by his appearance and the way he modulated his intensity. And SRK, known for his wit and humor, tweeted to Amitabh Bachchan to tell him that he would soon be taking revenge on him.
"Hand aap is Badla lene aa raha hoon @SrBachchan saab! Taiyaar rahiyega …" Shah Rukh Khan tweeted. To which, Amitabh Bachchan replied, "Arey bhai @iamsrk, Badla lene ka hour to nikal gaya .. Ab toh sab ko Badla dene ka hour hai."
Their jokes on Twitter left their fans divided and could not help stuffing their love and affection for each other. However, if you can watch it, it's one of SRK's unique strategies for promoting its film and keeping its fans engaged on social media until the movie arrives in the theater.
For the uninitiated, Shah Rukh Khan is one of Badla's producers under his local production banner Red Chillies Entertainment. And SRK and Big B met after nearly a decade of using celluloid. The film was shot at various locations in the UK.
Directed by Sujoy Ghosh, Bhadla – a crime thriller – is an adaptation of the Spanish film The Invisible Guest (2014). This is the second time that Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu are sharing the space after their blockbuster film Pink (2016). The film will be released March 8 this year.
