In the past two months, hundreds and thousands of fans have tweeted "subscribe to PewDiePie". As stated previously, the shooter broadcast live the horrific massacre inside the mosque on Facebook. Although the graphic video was removed from Facebook, several people quickly noticed that the shooter had shouted the name of PewDiePie.
After the news spread, several reasonable people started tweeting in favor of PewDiePie and condemning these acts. According to several social media users, it's wrong to blame YouTuber, 29, whose real name is Felix Kjellberg. At the moment, #PewdiPie is following a trend on Twitter and many of them have shown their support.
One user said on Twitter that "If you are using PewDiePie and the recent shooting in Christchurch in New Zealand to advance a political project, you are a true legionnaire on the planet." People have lost their family members today focus on that and condemn hate crimes like this. "
While others have said that even though they are not the biggest fans of PewDiePie, they understand that blaming him for the New Zealand church massacre is a silly thing.
