Cate Blanchett referred to as for gentlemen who abuse their electrical power to be “held to account” as she slammed disgraced movie producer Harvey Weinstein on Tuesday evening (10Oct17) at the premiere of her new Marvel movie.
The Thor: Ragnarok star and her co-star Mark Ruffalo included their voices to the refrain of Hollywood stars who have spoken out from the movie govt, subsequent two bombshell exposes in the New York Occasions and New Yorker detailing a few a long time of allegations of sexual abuse made him by many women of all ages.
Both equally stars have earlier produced statements and took to social media respectively to slam the alleged steps of the award-winning Hollywood producer.
And they reiterated their unequivocal stances at the Los Angeles premiere of the very-anticipated third installment in the Thor franchise.

On Tuesday, Harvey’s wife, Marchesa designer Georgina Chapman, declared she is leaving her spouse due to his “unforgivable actions” as more actresses arrived ahead with severe allegations from him.
The producer has reportedly flown to Europe to seek cure for sex addiction at an unnamed rehab facility. He was fired from the movie business he co-launched with his brother Bob, The Weinstein Business, on Monday.
