The Interent Had A Lot to Say About Remy Ma’s Skintight Gucci Catsuit | Style

In Nicki Minaj‘s delayed response to this year’s most publicized rap beef, she spat the following: “Soon as I wake up, keep an eye out for the snakes.”

While she was referring to the person now considered her rap nemesis, Remy Ma, we gathered that Nic was simply relaying a metaphor. Life imitates art, though, because last night, Remy wore a head-to-toe snakeskin look that probably has Taylor Swift mad that she didn’t rock the look first.

While performing at last night’s VH1 Hip-Hop Honors, Remy leaned all the way in to the snake motif. She also displayed her fashion-forward sensibilities while rocking the color that was all over last week’s runways: safety orange.

In an attention-commanding ‘fit, Remy sported a skin-tight Gucci snakeskin-patterned jumpsuit from its autumn/winter 2017 collection. The outfit drama didn’t stop there, though. Remy adorned her ‘fit with LaQuan Smith‘s laceup stilletto thigh-high boots. Designer JunJie Yang, fresh off the heels of winning the VFILES emerging talent competition, was lucky enough to outfit a celeb in the form of Remy rocking his puffer coat.

The internet sure had a lot to say about this ‘fit. There were those who couldn’t get past the fact that a puffer coat in a vivid color resembles a sleeping bag:

Others were more offended by her overall looks in general, with many people even calling on Remy to fire her stylist (or hire one, if she doesn’t have one):

Sheesh! If that wasn’t enough negativity to make you want to charge your crystals and reprogram their intentions, get this. It just so happens that Jeffree Star wore the exact same Gucci jumpsuit. The Shade Room knew what they were doing when they asked who wore it better, and you already know the commenters didn’t hold back. Read the comments below, or don’t and instead engage in a two-minute mindful meditation that will serve you much more:

Are you hating or loving this look?

Keyshia Cole and Remy Ma Are #FriendshipGoals

Sometimes it’s hard to tell which celebs are really friends and which are just turning it on for the cameras. When it comes to Keyshia Cole and Remy Ma, their friendship is anything but fake. Spanning at least a decade, their friendship includes musical collaborations, weddings, break ups, and even some jail time. Through it all, Keyshia and Remy have proven that they’re ride or die.

Keyshia has said before that she can’t remember how the two met, but that they’ve been friends for over a decade. If you’re friends with Keyshia Cole, it’s for real because, “I don’t like the Hollywood, fake, we don’t talk…” She also says that she and Remy “take friendship very seriously.”

Nicki Minaj May Be Mentioned On Possible Cardi B And Remy Ma Collaboration

Oh, boy! Nicki Minaj will not like this, Cardi B and Remy Ma are teaming up for a new song.

And many predict that once more Remy will diss Minaj as she did on “shETHER.”

Last week, Papoose’s wife made headlines by telling the world that the “Bodak Yellow” artist approached her for a collaboration on a new track.

Remy recently spoke at a VH1 Facebook Live event where she explained: “We actually were talking about it last night. She like literally grabbed me, she was like, ‘We need to do a song together.’ I was like, ‘OK.’ She is like, ‘I am not playing.’”

Last weekend, the former Love & Hip Hop: New York star performed at the Made in America Festival in Philadelphia where she hung out with Beyonce and made a big announcement.

The girlfriend of Migos member Offset told the fans: “Let me remind y’all I am dropping my album [in] October, bye.”

It is not known if Remy will drop her rhymes in time to be featured on the project.

The alliance between the two femcees from the Big Apple is not that surprising because Cardi has always admired Remy as a rap artist.

When she was nominated against Remy at the 2017 BET Awards alongside Missy Elliott, Minaj, and Young M.A. for Best Female Hip Hop Artist, a source claimed that Cardi never wanted to win.

The close friend said: “Cardi is not trying to take the award for Best Female Hip Hop Artist — she does not feel right winning it over Remy. She wants Remy to win. She looks up to her; she is one of her idols. If she ends up getting it instead of Remy, it will feel weird.”

The pal added: “Her confidence is all the way up and she sees herself walking away a winner. But even if she does not get the award, she already feels like she won. It is cheesy to say, but it is true. Only a couple of years ago she was working as a stripper — she never would’ve imagined that two years later she would be up for two BET Awards.”

Before the awards show, she praised Remy by saying: “I cannot believe it. But if I lose, I hope that Remy wins. She has always supported me from day one. She is my real one.”

What do you think about the two artists linking up for a track? Do you smell a hit?

Do you think the move will anger Minaj and is there any hope of all three stars making peace a la JAY-Z and Nas?

Are Cardi B And Remy Ma Working On Music Together?

Cardi B and Remy Ma may very well have some new music incoming.

By now, everyone knows that Remy Ma and Nicki Minaj have emerged as mortal enemies, trading seemingly never ending shots in one of hip-hop’s most random recent beefs. And while hip-hop is an inherently competitive genre, the general consensus among female rappers is that “there can only be one.” While Nick Minaj is quick to remind the community that she’s “the queen” of hip-hop, there are many who feel her self-assigned title is tenuous. In fact, a new challenger seems to have entered the royal race – the outspoken, endearing and lyrically deadly Cardi B.

Everyone and their geography teacher is well acquainted with “Bodak Yellow,” which has put the summer on smash and shows no sign of slowing. With an emphasis on lyricism and delivery, Cardi’s verses on “Bodak” made a similar point as Nicki once did with her iconic verse on “Monster,” proving that the ladies can spit venom and lyrically hang with the dudes; in fact, Nicki left two excellent rappers in the dust on that joint, and her work on My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy probably went a long way in establishing her “queen ship.”

However, with Cardi’s prominence on the rise, many have speculated that Nicki might not exactly be thrilled at the prospect of competition. Basically, every time Minaj drops a song, Barbz are quick to comb the lyrics for potential shots at Ms. Bardi. The speculation was not exactly quelled by Cardi and Remy Ma’s increasingly close relationship. And now, it would appear that Remy and Cardi may have some music in the works.

In a VH1 Facebook event, Remy alluded to the possibility of a Cardi collaboration, stating:  “We actually were talking about it last night. [Cardi] like literally grabbed me, she was like, ‘We need to do a song together.’ I was like, ‘OK.’ She’s like, ‘I’m not playin.’”

So while that’s hardly concrete, it does indicate that both parties are interested in linking up for a track. How do ya’ll feel about this? There’s no doubt that Nicki might feel some type of way, but there’s no reason why everyone can’t just kiss and make up. After all, Jay-Z and Nas got past “Takeover” and “Ether,” didn’t they?

Remy Ma Attacks Nicki Minaj But She Is Not Answering

Remy Ma and Nicki Minaj are still going at it, and now, no one expects this feud ever to end.

It was a blink-and-you-miss-it moment at the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards, but a few people caught it and shared on the internet, and it is still creating buzz.

Remy in a sheer bodysuit used Minaj’s own diss against her, and she did it one same show.

The Love & Hip Hop: New York star was talking to Terrence Jenkins when she was told it was time to go to commercial. She made a brief announcement.

The femcee said: “The 2017 MTV VMAs are back in two minutes.”

A few seconds later, she added: “Nicki, what’s good?”

Fans of hip-hop music went wild on social media.

One said: “Remy Ma still coming for the Queen, she needs to worry about my sis Cardi surpassing her in a year #VMAS #RemyMa.”

A second supporter explained: “Remy done ruined her whole career with three words I’m soo ready for Nicki To clapback.”

A third commenter shared: “I had to rewind when I heard “Nicki what’s good.”

Not many people were surprised that Remy was handed a mic and took the opportunity to throw shade at the “Anaconda” singer, but no one predicted that she would use Minaj’s own words against her.

In 2015, Miley Cyrus robbed Minaj the wrong way in an interview with the New York Times where she said the Young Money artist was not very polite.

During the 2015 MTV VMAs, Minaj went after Cyrus by stating: “And now back to this b—h that had a lot to say about me the other day in the press — Miley, what’s good?”

Minaj was also present at the event but has not responded to her nemesis, unless you count her epic rhymes on London On Da Track hit song called “No Flag.”

Minaj goes on the attack with killer lines like: “Lil b*tch I heard these labels tryna make another me
Everything you getting, lil hoe, is cause of me
I heard I’m stopping bags, word to Shaggy it wasn’t me
These b*tches is my sons, but they daddy ain’t bust in me
I’m a white picket fence b*tch, you a on the bench b*tch
See me in the gym, now these b*tches wanna go bench press
I ain’t f*cking with you sis, we ain’t with the incest
Yes, I am the Queen, I’m still trying to find a princess.

Fat Joe spoke about the fight and said Remy should not have released the diss track “shETHER.”
