After months of silence, and only a few days of family-oriented, highly filtered photographs on Kim Kardashian West’s social-media accounts, a new Keeping Up with the Kardashians teaser has revealed she’ll be addressing the robbery in Paris that sent her into relative hiding on a future episode.
In the teaser, Kardashian West is filmed barefaced and crying while recounting the events to her sisters Khloé and Kourtney. “They’re going to shoot me in the back,” she said. “There’s no way out. It makes me so upset to think about it.”
The clip also offers insight into the past months in house Kardashian-West. The reality star is shown on the phone, presumably with Kanye West, who was hospitalized in November for exhaustion. She says, “Don’t scare me, please. What’s going on?”
Later in the promo Kardashian West says, “I think he really needs me, and I have to get home.”
Though Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ audience won’t know for sure until the final footage debuts in the upcoming season, the clips seem to run counter to earlier reports that the robbery had interrupted filming for the show. A source told US Weekly following the incident that Kim “has canceled everything for the next several weeks and will not be working. She feels safer in L.A. and wants to be home with her family.” It is still unclear when the footage was taped.
